How to choose a wall color you will still like in a year
A simple four-step test: start with the floor, watch the light, sample big and decide after a full day.

The Archive is open.
Firnie now has a place for rooms that stay with us: three material stories to browse when you want a fresh starting point.

Start with the light.
Before choosing a color, notice where the day arrives in your room. Morning and evening are different designers.
Quick answers about the Studio
Is Firnie free to use?
Yes. The Studio, the palettes and the guides are free, and you do not need an account.
Is my room photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photo stays in your browser tab and is never sent to a server. See the privacy note.
Does Firnie generate an AI image of my room?
Not yet. Today Firnie builds a palette from real materials, and AI visualization is planned for a future version. See how it works.
What can I do with the saved concept?
It downloads as a small text note with your floor, wall and furniture choices and their color codes. Take it to a paint shop or showroom. More in the FAQ.
